About training Thieving Thieving is a members-only support skill you level by pickpocketing NPCs, robbing market stalls, and cracking chests, with your success chance climbing as the level rises and the full Rogue's outfit doubling most loot. The usual path is fruit stalls and blackjacked bandits for cheap early XP, then Ardougne Knights or near-idle Varlamore Wealthy Citizens through the middle, and Wilderness Rogues' Castle chests from level 84 for the fastest rates in the game. Dodgy necklaces and the Shadow Veil spell soften the stuns that keep interrupting a pickpocket grind.
