About training Runecraft

Runecraft is the classic slow-burn gathering skill: you haul essence out to altars (or earn everything inside the Guardians of the Rift minigame) and convert it into runes. The route most players run in 2026 is GOTR from level 27 to 77, then near-AFK blood and soul rune crafting in Arceuus, which pays steady gp the whole way to 99. If raw speed is the goal, lava runes at the fire altar are the fastest self-clicked xp, but they cost money and demand constant attention.

Did you know: Going 1-99 on lava runes alone means feeding roughly 1,241,000 pure essence into the fire altar at 10.5 xp apiece - while the lazy Arceuus route from 77 pays out up to ~160M gp in blood and soul runes for a fraction of the clicking.
